Garden of Humanity - Annette

What is it?

Le Jardin d’Humanité is inviting five Goldies the performance of*Annette*.

Somewhere between philosophical exploration and a carnival celebration, between a testament and a group dance, *Annette* is a tribute to the many selves we embody, to our transformations, and to our rebirths.

When Clémentine meets Annette, it completely changes her relationship with the world. Indomitable and driven by an insatiable longing for new horizons and freedom, Annette has always managed to break free from the roles she was trapped in—mother, wife, woman—to explore new horizons and constantly reinvent herself.

Over the course of numerous interviews, she shares with Clémentine more than 70 years of personal experience, telling her about the choices she has made, the story of her body, and even her most turbulent escapades. By bringing Annette, two actresses, and two dancers onto the stage, and by weaving these memories into fantastical worlds, this landscape-format portrait offers a different perspective on old age.
