Drink, eat, dance, sing, and have fun: that’s the motto of our “Don’t You Dare Call Us Old”Thé Dansant .
In a space exclusively reserved and designed for our GOLDIES community GOLDIES 65+), participants are invited to spend an afternoon enjoying a colorful, glamorous, and offbeat tea time, complete with elegantly dressed servers, sparkling silverware, and a few glasses of bubbly. All accompanied by an extravagant burlesque cabaret, live performances, DJs, circus artists, musical bingo, and deafening karaoke—a true immersion in the world of the American Burning Man festival!
Our goals are simple: to come together and connect, to have fun and let loose, to lose yourself in a dance, and to bring a smile back to your face.

We especially welcome GOLDIES face social isolation in their daily lives or financial difficulties. Thé Dansant an accessible, affordable, and subsidized event that gives you the time and opportunity to make new friends and have fun!
At Thé Dansant Don't You Dare Call Us Old" Thé Dansant , YOU are the star of the show! Our goal is simple: to entertain you, help you connect with friends, make you lose track of time, and put a smile on your face. On the agenda: an afternoon of culinary and artistic exploration! Emerging artists, dance battles, DJ sets, funky karaoke, and circus acts. All set in a quirky atmosphere that’s right up your alley. Your mission: DRESS TO IMPRESS! “Just like at that ball where it all began”…
By participating in an event or activity organized by WARNED, you automatically become a member of our Association. As such, we ask you—as we do of every GOLDIE—to commit to embracing our values: open-mindedness, inclusion, a desire to participate, kindness, generosity, sharing, co-creation, safety, and health. These shared values and commitments give you an idea of what we expect from one another and the standards we hold for all our staff, volunteers, and activities. We are a community.

It depends on the time of year and the public health guidelines in place. In the past, we have held indoor events at Le Bassin (Sainte-Catherine) and outdoor events at the Atomium, the Grand Hospice, and our garden in Uccle.

Yes. We ask each GOLDIE to pay a participation fee of 10 euros. This fee gives you access to an English-style tea party with tea and cakes, a glass of sparkling wine, and a full afternoon of entertainment (cabaret, live music, DJ, dancing).

Anyone can be a GOLDIE! All you have to do is come to one of our events. But since we have a limited number of participants, it’s essential to reserve your spot!
You must register in advance so that we can add your name to the guest list.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or in person on the day of the event.

This social gathering, turned into a Mad Tea Party, is designed for GOLDIES help them stay active and connected with their community and peers. The maximum number of participants is 100 GOLDIES.

Yes! Please let us know in advance if you’d like to order a gluten-free or lactose-free snack, or if you have any other specific requests. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Your health and safety are our top priority.
All of our staff and volunteers follow strict COVID-19 protocols in accordance with the government guidelines in effect at the time of the event.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please call your doctor: we’ll be happy to welcome you to our event as soon as you’ve recovered.

Our team includes professionals in the fields of healthcare, physical therapy, and geriatrics. All of our activities are designed to allow everyone to participate, regardless of their skill level or type of disability.
If your needs are more complex, why not seek some support? We welcome caregivers and support staff to our Thé Dansant.

Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation or shuttle services, but we do our best to ensure that we are located as close as possible to public transportation.

Dress to impress! We encourage all our guests to dress as elegantly as possible to really bring out your FLAMINGOLD!
But we want you to feel comfortable, so if you feel more at ease in casual, everyday clothes, that’s great too! We would never turn anyone away.

Yes! The Thé Dansant team warmly Thé Dansant everyone, especially those who come alone. We’ll make sure you feel comfortable and included at all times.

Our Thé Dansant reserved for GOLDIES 65 and older. However, we welcome younger participants if they are caregivers or companions.

Our events are exclusively for GOLDIES no matter how old your children are, they’ll have to make do with your memories.

During the Thé Dansant, we often take photos and videos for our archives as well as for promotional purposes.
By participating, you agree that we may use any photos or videos taken during the events for WARNED exclusive use.

Volunteering for Thé Dansant incredibly rewarding: we learn so much from our GOLDIES, and it’s a lot of fun, too!
Waiter, hostess, emcee, dancer, .. Thé Dansant always looking for volunteers to help set up, welcome guests, serve, and assist our GOLDIES. Your role is to make sure our GOLDIES welcome, inspired, and included. Everyone participates in Thé Dansant there are no spectators!
Artistic Performances: If you’re a performer, musician, or have an artistic project you’d like to submit to the Thé Dansant program, please contact us! Our stage is open!
