At WARNED, we believe that an inclusive society is also built by changing the way we view aging. Our activities enable Goldies take their rightful place, share their experience and talents, and actively participate in cultural and social life.
INCLUSION
To provide spaces for listening, support, and action.
WARNED spaces where Goldies isolated or have dropped out of society can reconnect, find support, and regain their energy. We implement tailored approaches to enable everyone to participate, take action, and break the cycle of loneliness, while strengthening their active role in society.
TRANSMISSION
Promote knowledge transfer and capacity building among Goldies.
At WARNED, we value the experience and skills of Goldies, so that they can contribute to collaborative and innovative projects. By sharing their knowledge, creativity, and ideas, they become agents of social innovation and help build meaningful collective solutions.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Drink, eat, dance, sing, and have fun: that’s the motto of our Thé Dansant ‘Don’t You Dare Call Us Old’. WARNED the spirit of Burning Man to the heart of the city, offering a truly unique event to the GOLDIE community. A professional team, volunteers, food service, a bar, music, cabaret, and much more are all part of this comprehensive entertainment package.

PREVIOUS ACTIVATIONS
THE DANSANT - On October 5, 2024, WARNED the pleasure of staging the magnificent Thé Dansant with its partners as part of Blue Week. The Association of Merchants of Carrefour Jean Monet (ACCJM), in collaboration with GAQ, the City of Brussels Neighborhood Center, Vivaqua, and Entreprendre Bruxelles, invited around 100 Goldies heart of Ambiorix Square for a grand celebration of aging to highlight the neighborhood’s key players.
THE DANSANT HOSPICE - On the occasion of World Senior Citizens’ Day, the Grand Hospice welcomed more than 200 Goldies City of Brussels’ community centers for this large, inclusive celebration in October 2022.
THE DANSANT - To help alleviate the loneliness experienced by our seniors during the pandemic, WARNED 130 Goldies foot of the Atomium in December 2021 to dance, drink, sing, and celebrate together without limits.
THE DANSANT EDITION- WARNED its first show, the Thé Dansant, for the first time in October 2019. They brought the spirit of Burning Man to the GOLDIE community through original entertainment and radical inclusion.
Cultural projects that celebrate the lives of the GOLDIES
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
WARNED delighted to support and participate in cultural projects that celebrate the GOLDIES the third act of life.
IN ACTION
The Choir ChantâgeWARNED to perform alongside Chanter Bonheur, the choir of the Guinguettes Rosa in Asnières. A wonderful collaboration where voices, smiles, and collective energy transform the music into a true moment of sharing and (international) connection.
PREVIOUS ACTIVATIONS
HANAMI 40+ - In 2022, WARNED with photographer France Dubois as part of the international HANAMI 40+ project, highlighting the beauty of women over 40.
COUP DE POUCE - In 2024, as part of the “Coup de Pouce” call for projects, 17 projects proposed by residents were selected, including the Bal Musette by WARNED. An exhibition dedicated to these projects is on display on the railings of Wolvendael Park.
Solidarity
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
WARNED closely with other nonprofit organizations to demonstrate its support for their missions and to share essential knowledge. This is particularly true for organizations addressing issues related to aging and loneliness.
PREVIOUS ACTIVATIONS
NVVE- In 2023, WARNED invited to help celebrate the NVVE’s 50th anniversary in the Netherlands! A serious topic—the right to self-determination—an inspiring venue, and a chance to expand the family thanks to the fabulous artists Ding Dong Dolores, Kelly Above Average, and Masha, who agreed to bring their incredible and unique talents to the Thé Dansant team.
BRUSSEL HELPT - “The World’s Largest Spaghetti” is an annual charity event organized by the Brussels-based media outlet BRUZZ through its “Brussel Helpt” campaign. It is not a single physical spaghetti dish, but rather a massive community meal bringing together thousands of people at dozens of locations across Brussels to support a local cause.
THE WHITE EAR- In 2023, WARNED with the Lions Club to promote the “White Ear: Making an Invisible Disability Visible” campaign, a badge designed to raise awareness, much like the famous white cane for the visually impaired (also invented by a Lions Club member).
Living and activity spaces
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Our Regular Program Thé Au Jardinbrings together a wide range of highly qualified experts and offers various activities and hands-on workshops designed specifically for GOLDIES.
Looking to expand your audience or bring empty spaces to life? WARNED work with you to implement this type of program within your organization.
IN ACTION
WARNED its GOLDIES members GOLDIES first Monday of the month at Thé au Salon. In collaboration with the Uccle Cultural Center, we offer a wide range of cultural workshops and experiences designed to help you relax, recharge, and connect with others.
OTHER ACTIVATIONS
I CAN'T, I'M SEEING A THERAPIST - In partnership with PsyBru and Le Souffle, this weekly program explores the intricacies of the mind. Le Jardin serves as the hub for Brussels’ mental health initiative.
LIP-READING - In collaboration with the Association for the Hearing Impaired, WARNED a weekly lip-reading workshop. These sessions help people with hearing impairments follow conversations more easily, stay engaged in the conversation, and maintain social connections.
'IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD'- With Mara, the director of Mortels Cafés, we talk about our own mortality. Each café session focuses on a specific topic (Estate Planning, End-of-Life Care, Legal Formalities, etc.), and, without taboos or judgment, we ask questions of the experts in attendance.
Intergenerational
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Intergenerational connections are at the heart of the WARNED spirit.
Through our intergenerational activities, we create opportunities for sharing where Goldies experience Goldies the curiosity of younger people, so they can learn from one another and build bonds that transcend age.
IN ACTION
Regarding RTT (Bring Your Pie), the Goldies performers and creators: on stage to share their talents in music, slam poetry, or behind the turntables, and at the community party where everyone brings their own touch—or their pie! These neighborhood-wide events celebrate creativity, intergenerational connections, and the joy of coming together.
PREVIOUS ACTIVATIONS
HOLI FESTIVAL - Every year, we bring together young and old to celebrate the Holi Festival together—a time of fellowship, joy, and renewal. For a moment, colors fill the air, laughter rings out, and generations come together to celebrate the arrival of spring in a spirit of sharing and freedom.
A NIGHT AT WOLVENDAEL - At Wolvendael Park, on a summer night, we pull out the sleeping bags, turn on the string lights, rekindle our spirit of adventure… and pitch our tents right in the heart of the park! A cultural campsite—a little bohemian, a little DIY, 100% friendly—where the Goldies young and old alike to share stories, laughter, and special moments across generations.
Inclusion Training
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Drawing on our many years of experience working with seniors, WARNED training programs so that your organization can serve the GOLDIE community with confidence.
IN ACTION
Each of our volunteers, as well as workshop leaders, speakers, and artists, undergoes comprehensive training with the WARNED team. The training covers topics such as inclusion, accessibility, mobility, empathy, communication, health, and safety.

Capacity Building
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We help Goldies overcome the obstacles they Goldies in everyday life and develop the skills they need to stay up to date. Our programs combine hands-on support with partnerships with local and international organizations. This way, every Goldie can remain in control of their own life while staying connected to the world around them.
IN ACTION
On March 13, 2026, Jardin will host the first International AI Café, an initiative of the French Council for AI and Digital Technology (CIAN), which offers an opportunity to learn, discuss, and experiment with the applications of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. This event offers participants the opportunity to ask questions, share their perspectives, and gain a better understanding of the current challenges of this technological revolution.

DIGIDOKTOR by DIGIBETA - As an IT trainer and consultant, Sara helps Goldies and embrace new technologies through workshops and practical advice. Because overcoming your fear is the first step toward moving forward in the modern digital world.
Contribution to media initiatives
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Whether through documentaries, radio, television, programming, contests, or even by serving on juries, we would be delighted to explore creative and engaging ways to collaborate with you, in order to shine GOLDIES spotlight GOLDIES the GOLDIES and highlight the diversity of their backgrounds and experiences.
PREVIOUS ACTIVATIONS
FRANCE 5- Released in February 2026, France 5 produced “Aging and Enjoying Life Without Restrictions,” a documentary exploring older adults and sexuality.
RADIO MARITIME - In 2022, WARNED invited to participate in Radio Maritime at the Uccle Cultural Center, a Brussels radio station that gives a voice to residents and specific projects carried out in different neighborhoods of the capital.
COUPE CIRCUIT - Created by the GSARA Association, COUPE CIRCUIT was a film festival featuring documentaries selected by a jury of audience members. The 5th edition, which took place from May 30 to June 18, 2022, centered on three main themes: “Generations,” “Testimonials,” and “Immersion,” featuring screenings in theaters and online, as well as an audience award. The Goldies WARNED the pleasure of serving on the jury for this event.
Art and Culture Lab
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
WARNED thrilled to open its spaces and events to artists from all walks of life. We offer them the opportunity to work directly with our GOLDIE community, draw inspiration from it, and collaborate on new creations. Whether they’re finalizing a piece, testing performances, or exploring new ideas, our Goldies partners and active participants in the art world, enriching the creative process and sharing unique experiences.
PREVIOUS ACTIVATIONS
LA COTE FOLLE - In 2025, WARNED artists from the circus troupe La Côte Folle to work with our group of GOLDIES.
THEO JAFFRY - In 2024, WARNED Théo, a first-year film student at INSAS in Brussels. As part of his first-year documentary project, he directed a 3-minute black-and-white silent short film on film stock, featuring our GOLDIES.
ZOE LAKHNATI- In 2022, Garage29, in collaboration with the CCU, organized a two-week residency for Zoë Lakhnati at Le Jardin, as part of her project "In Search of ARNOLD," an iconographic epic that challenges representations of women in art history. GOLDIES the GOLDIES this artist sought to highlight the constant evolution of our images and attempt to create new ones. This work was exhibited at the CCU in 2023.
