GOLDIES
The GOLDIES the community of seniors aged 65 and older—are the beating heart of WARNED. Regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs, marital status, or profession, every GOLDIE is invited to participate in WARNED events, activities, and initiatives.
At WARNED, we aim to unleash the FLAMINGOLD in all our GOLDIES. As the perfect embodiment of the GOLDIE spirit, the flamingo represents emotional balance, cooperation, openness, and love, while exuding charm, grace, and serenity. It traditionally symbolizes a sociable nature and a desire to build community bonds we can all trust.
Most importantly, the flamingo symbolizes the late blossoming of beauty and confidence. Born gray and pale, it takes on its distinctive color with age—just as our GOLDIES encouraged to blossom with pride during their golden years.

By participating in an event or activity organized by WARNED, you automatically become a member of our Association. As such, we ask every GOLDIE to commit to embracing our values: open-mindedness, inclusion, a desire to participate, kindness, generosity, sharing, co-creation, safety, and health. These shared values and commitments give you an idea of what we expect from one another and the standards we hold for all our staff, volunteers, and activities. We are a community.

Short on time? No problem. You can also support our project by making a financial contribution. Given the current situation, we rely in part on financial donations to keep our doors open and organize our events and activities.
