WARNED

Thé au Jardin

A lush green oasis and natural space in the heart of the city. Nestled in Kauwberg, in the beautiful town of Uccle, our house and its gardens form a "Freespace" where you are encouraged to learn, connect, grow, and share on social, emotional, mental, and physical levels. We openly embrace our differences: whether you’re active, outgoing, living alone, or prefer a slower pace, everyone is welcome. Thé au Jardin an inclusive project where bonds between young and older generations are forged, and circularity is key: we collaborate in harmony, and everything we need flows in and out of the community.

Through our unique program of activities, performances, and workshops, our experienced team of volunteers, professional instructors, and artists creates an eclectic space where you can build or rebuild self-esteem and confidence, regain independence, increase your physical mobility, and improve your mood.

The idea is simple: come as you are and grow with us.

As such, we ask every GOLDIE to commit to embracing our values: open-mindedness, inclusion, a desire to participate, kindness, generosity, sharing, co-creation, safety, and health. These shared values and commitments give you an idea of what we expect from one another and the standards we hold for all our staff, volunteers, and activities. We are a community.

At Le Jardin, most of our activities operate on a PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN basis. This system allows everyone to contribute according to their means and the value they place on what they receive.

This choice is no accident: we are convinced that this is the fairest and most respectful way to promote inclusion. It is based on fairness, trust, autonomy, responsibility, and solidarity—values that are essential to Le Jardin and WARNED.

You know better than anyone else what things are worth and what you can afford. You don’t have to justify yourself, ask for a discount, or explain your situation. We make it possible for you to participate with dignity, and our activities remain open to everyone.

When those who are able to do so support those who are less fortunate, our activities remain accessible to everyone. This proves that solidarity works and that, together, we truly make a difference.
