MUSETTE Garden
LE JARDIN MUSETTE is a welcoming and inclusive space featuring performances, gatherings, picnic tables, cozy corners for chatting, a communal bar, and nature... Here you’ll find whatever people choose to bring: a space where local musicians come to play, artists showcase their work, dance moves emerge spontaneously, and organizations gather to discuss their projects and recruit new members—a place where people bring food and drinks to share and connect with fellow Uccle residents of all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
JARDIN MUSETTE has received the "Coup de Pouce" grant from the Municipality of Uccle.
Jardin Musette , Summer 2024
With a focus on the Bal Musette, the Garden buzzed all summer long to the beats of our in-house DJs, thanks to a “helping hand” from Uccle’s Deputy Mayor for Community Engagement! No fewer than 9 Wednesdays, 4 DJs, 3 concerts, 2 “Jardinage” days, picnics, and barbecues sent the temperature soaring well above “caliente” from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Over the course of these 10 summer Wednesdays, the Garden hosted 4 concerts, 8 workshops, 2 musette dances, and 1 national barbecue, attracting an average of 15 to 20 Goldies 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 25 to 40+ people of all ages from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Thank you to the Coup de Pouce from the Municipality of Uccle!
Thé Dansant
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many of our GOLDIES heightened loneliness. WARNED bring the extravagance and fun of its Thé Dansant events Thé Dansant heart of the neighborhoods. With several surprise activities taking place in public spaces, all “lockdown” residents were invited to join in while maintaining social distancing. Circus performers, interactive board games, and music lit up the streets of Brussels and could be enjoyed from the safety of a window, a doorway, or a front door! Event produced in collaboration with BUURTPENSIOEN/ PENS(I)ONS QUARTIER.

The show must go on! Despite the COVID-19 pandemic limiting social interactions, WARNED the unique extravaganza of Thé Dansant online. Good vibes, great energy, and incredible FLAMINGOLD outfits were shared digitally. The GOLDIES able GOLDIES discover and enjoy cabaret performances, DJ music, dance, yoga, and discussions during the "Thé Confiné / In Uw Kot" events, right from the comfort of their living rooms. WARNED its mission to continue celebrating intergenerational solidarity and to help the community forget that they were temporarily confined!
